  1. How do I shop on Manathota - for native online shopping?

    Manathota - for native online shopping, can be done in a very easy way so that the customer gets what he wants in simple clicks. The following is the procedure to get all your native products through "manathota"

    Category-wise

    The homepage includes a category list - from which you can have a list of relevant sub-categories with photos and prices for each product. For example in the category "food & spices", you can opt for any sub-category and choose the available products in the sub-category list. If you check for "sweets" in the sub-category list, all the sweets available will be displayed and you can select the item by clicking on "add to cart". Then the product will be added to your "order cart" at the top. Again if you want to select more products you can add on, by clicking on the various categories. If you don't want to shop more and if your purchase value is more than Rs.299/- you can directly go to the order cart and make the payment procedures accordingly.

    Search Option

    In addition, the valued customer can search for products by just entering any native product by their name he/she knows, or even conversion to English language from his native language. The search option is made so simple so that an alphabet will display all the available products with that alphabet. Click the "Buy" button on the product page for order summary and further payment procedures (only if your total bill is more than Rs.299/-)

  2. How do I sign in to my personal account of "manathota"?

    For this you have to click on "login" on the rightside top of the home page and fill relevant fields to register. Upon first time submission of your info, OTP will be generated and will be sent to your mobile / email (this is for confirmation and maintenance of your records). After entering OTP, you can choose a password of your choice and now you are a member of our manathota family. Even if you forgot password, the password will be sent to your mobile number. You can view your order status anytime.

  3. What is "Demand cart"?

    "Demand Cart" is the new concept developed by the experts team of manathota, where you can demand any new product you want which is not on our products list, or, you can also demand any product for which the stock is not available. For this, the "demand cart" button beside "add to cart" will only be activated if there is no stock, otherwise it will be disabled. For new products, you can directly click on the Demand cart button the right top corner and enter details of the product. Our dedicated customer care representative will soon call you back for more details.

  4. How do I know whether my payment is succesfull ?

    Once your payment has been successfully made, your order is processed immediately. Manathota will send a confirmation mail for your order. In this mail you will be provided with a unique Order ID for your reference with our customer service team and details of the item/s you have ordered.

  5. How do I check the current status of my orders/ product shipment?

    You can review the status of your orders, which you have placed with manathota by signing in to your account and the current status will be displayed on the order summary with either "under process", "fulfilled" or "pending" against your products.

  6. How do I make the payment for a product that I purchase on manathota website?

    We offer multiple methods to make payments for your order: Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, and Bank Transfer.

  7. Is it safe to shop at manathota?

    Yes, shopping at manathota is 100% safe. All Credit card and Debit card payments on manathota are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways managed by leading Indian banks.

    Furthermore, the Banks ask you to enter an online password (also known as 3D secure password) which acts as an additional layer of security for your card transaction. This 3D Secure password is not printed anywhere on the card and is known only to you, giving you the added assurance that only you can use your card to make purchases on the Internet. This makes your online transaction on "manathota" extremely safe and secure.

  8. I received my order, but I am missing an item?

    Please note that your order can come in several shipments or as a single cart. Utmost care will be taken by the manathota special packing team to deliver what we promised. Eventhough, after receiving all of the boxes, if you find some tiems missing, please email us at info@manathota.com.

  9. Are the products I purchase on "manathota" covered by a warranty / guarantee?

    We work hard to select or proceed with reputable vendor, shop keepers and manufactures, who are well established and doing good business at local towns and cities. If they offer a Warranty on a product, we pass on the same to you. It’s exactly the same as if you were buying products in a shopping mall or from local shops.

  10. How will the delivery be done?

    We have partnered with reputed DTDC courier services to process our shipments.

  11. How soon can I expect the order delivery?

    Our efforts are to deliver you at the fastest means. The estimated time of delivery is within 2-10 working days for once we have received your payment confirmation. However, if your order is booked on a holiday or on previous day to a holiday the demand will be met on the next working day.   12. What locations does "manathota" ship to?

    Presently, we are delivering items to all locations in india only. However there are few products (perishable sweets and snacks) with few pin codes that we don't service. Please get in touch with us at info@manathota.com for more information on shipping items and locations.

  13. What are the delivery charges?

    We are pleased to offer many products with free shipping charges, but as per the existing policies of the company there are very reasonable shipping charges applicable for few products. Please note Duties and taxes if applicable on the product will be payable by the consumer.

  14. I am asked by the courier company to pay Octroi. What should I Do?

    Please pay Octroi to the courier company if requested by them (only in few cities). Manathota is not responsible for any octroi payments.

  15. What is manathota return/exchange policy?

    It's vital for you to know our items or products well before you return them. Most products are traditional and native in nature made by artisans using traditional techniques. Thus, any variations in taste, colour, design, weaving, stitching, beading etc. shall not be considered as a defect. It is this variation which enhances the uniqueness of every product.

    A slight variation in color may also be possible due to digital photography.

    Considering all the above factors, we are happy to offer free return if you have received a damaged, defective or if a wrong product is shipped (which we assure will never happen) subject to verifying the damage. You need to get back to our customer care through phone/email within 2 days of receipt of damaged/defective or items not meeting description. Goods when returned should be received along with tag, packing material.
